SensoryCo scent systems coupled with pop-up outdoor misting tents (from SensoryCo sister company Koolfog) made quite an impression during Coachella Fest 2023 as “stations” to showcase an immersive beauty experience created for vegan haircare brand Love Beauty and Planet. Creative agency MKG designed three incredibly beautiful installations in partnership with Edelman, floral by Figs & Flowers, with mist and signature scents infused into the environment by SensoryCo atmospheric effects.
The three Love Beauty and Planet “Oasis” could be found strategically spread out at three different popular Palm Springs area hotels during Weekend One of Coachella Fest:
- The Saguaro Hotel
- The Renaissance Esmeralda Resort & Spa (a Coachella shuttle station)
- Margaritaville Hotel (a Coachella shuttle station)
Guests visiting the lovely outdoor misting tents were offered a spot to cool off and indulge in earth-friendly festival goodies by Love Beauty and Planet. The brand’s focus on natural product ingredients was further enhanced by SensoryCo scent systems which delivered the engaging smells of coconut, rose and mandarin to feature Love Beauty Planets core scents Coconut Water & Mimosa Flower, Murumuru Butter & Rose and Vegan Keratin & Sun-Kissed Mandarin. MKG decorated each outdoor misting tent with luscious florals in the soft colors of pink, white, and orange to complement each scent. Bathed in the delicate sensory atmospheric effects, visitors could freshen up at mirrored “beauty stations” stocked with Love Beauty and Planet shampoo and conditioner samples as deemed festival “essentials,” including hair accessories, branded fanny packs, Liquid I.V. packets, and hand fans while waiting for their rides to the music festival grounds. In addition, influencers staying at one of the three resorts were given branded gift bags full of luxe items as well as access to dedicated party buses for transportation to and from the festival. Organized by the MKG team and in keeping with the Love Beauty and Planet brand floral scented theme, the buses were decorated with flowers.
Coachella Festival is well-known for its abundance of splashy retail and party pop-ups throughout the desert, and it is honored to be considered a creative and/or brand stand-out each season.
